Tips for Travelers - Ukraine

When you visit Ukraine, there are some important things you should know. For exemple, ukrainians are good lovers of beer and vodka, however, is not expected to drink alcohol in public places, due to government prohibition by high rates of teenage alcoholism. Ukrainians are also good wine lovers. There are many wine regions and big wine festivals. 

The Ukrainian cuisine is made of various ingredients in a single dish, plus the combination of roasting, frying and baking. They have a preference for pork and poultry meat.

Ukraine has cold regions in the north and warmer in the south and clothing is common in a country with instable temperatures. In Ukraine women have the habit of wearing skirts or even mini skirts in the summer. The men dress in classic and casual way.

When you visit someone's home, it's a custom of the country to remove the shoes upon entering, as a form of respect.

At Easter there is a custom to offer as gift the "pessankas". Pessankas are raw eggs hand painted and mean health, life and prosperity. 

On sights, Carpathian is a place with famous resorts because in winter you can ski and summer is a great place to relax and improve health by pure mountain air and mineral water to cure. 

Would you like to visit Chernobyl? You're supposed to check with at least 10 days in advance to get the necessary security clearances.

Spain - Barcelona.

If you visit Spain, there are things you should know. Spanish are people most open for help. You should know if you stand in the street, and a Spanish sees you, it’s the custom to help you because the Spanish people are always ready for this. When you stay in Barcelona, it’s not acceptable to say you like Real Madrid. Also, it’s expected to take photographs the of many places in Barcelona, there are many works of Gaudi. It’s a custom to travel by train because the places are close and you can go by on foot. It’s not acceptable that you don’t eat Jamon Pata Negra a type of ham, and the seafood like the Paella, an important Spanish food dish.

Brazil (Camila Daros)

When you visit Brazil, there are some important things you should know. The country is really big, so there are so many custom inside. The culture in north is different than the south and this is something that is fascinating. Here, in south, the people is more inflexible than the people in south. People say that because in south, the climate is colder than the north and this make people cold too. In Brazil, the new year, it is a intensive party. We celebrate 3 days in general. It is custom to pass this date on the beach with friends and family. Not just new year but all party in Brazil is not just one day.

Curitiba Amazing (Matheus Cabral)

If one day you you travel to Curitiba exist some information you should know. In first, in Curitiba is not commom greet people on the street, supermarket, elevators, puplic places or others places like that saying "Good morning", "Good night", "hello" or something else seems it if you don't know who the person is. Curitiban said it is because of the bad climate exist ther. Wherefore, if you go there don´t forget to take the cold clothes (Jackets, pants, gloves, scarf and sweters). On the other hand there is a good coast just one hundred kilometers away, so if you travel to there between november until march is a good idea lead summer clothes too. And although curitiban are a very close people, you have to know if you make a relationship with one, definitly you get a friend for the rest of you life. In the end but not less important are the about places. Curitiba have a lot of beutiful and amazing: Squares, street fairs, night clubs, restaurant, pubs and museums, so places to enjoy there's have.

Tips for travelers

   If you're planning to travel around Brazil, one mandatory stop is Serra Gaúcha on northeast of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It's a really beautifull place, that remembers small cities of Europe. This region was colonized most by italian immigrants on XIX century. 

   But there're some thing that is importante to know before you go, for example, in some cities you can buy cloths and shoes that are cheap and have a good quality, but a part of them still don't accept creditcard, so you might have money or check. If you go to Antônio Prado, that is a National Historical and Artistic Heritage, it's a costum to sit on chairs in front of the houses, about 5PM, to drink chimarrão (a tipical drink) and talk with neighbors, friends and family. Another thing to keep in mind is that you are not supposed to deny a cup of coffe, or a chimarrão, when you visit someone on their home. 

   Do not be surprised if you see a lot of people drinking wine during the week, on lunch or dinner, while in some places that's just for special occasions. Besides, it is a typical region of wine production. 

   Another thing to be prepared is that it's normal people you don't know greet you on street, or start talking with you in a cafe or something like that.

   Finally, a trip that is well worth it, that can be made in any time of the year, but if you go in winter, you may even see snow and eating fondue, and if you go on February or March is time of the grape harvest.

A few minutes later Johann met with Hitler and both of them left that place, going to Brazil. When they were safe, Hitler said: "As I was saying before being interrupted, arriving in Brazil, I want a new name, I'll be known by the name Stefan, Stefan Germanotta, and in some years whole world will say my words, and follow my rules. The War was just the beginning. Bring until me the best surgeon you can find, I'll change sex". After that Johann was disgusted, but he was just an employee and would do his work.

At the same Time people were planning things. Things to destroy Hitler, to catch his most precious stuff. His candies. Even in Brazil he wouldn't be safe. An evil woman was coming, Madonna, a singer who failed for being too liberal, after selling his soul to the devil, was coming for revenge, not now, but in the future.

3 Months later

Stefan, that was Hitler, but that now is called Stefanie because of the sex change, was on the beach, taking some sun on her new body: blond, thin, with a white smile, a complete Lady. Suddenly, somebody covered the sun, she couldn't see anything and then something was put on her face, with a strange smell that make her sleep. When she woke up….

Close to the midnight hour, a cry was heard in the sorroudings of a small house in Braunau am Inn, Austria. Germany, December 20th 1944.

After years of war, the German Führer sat back on his chair looking out his window and passing his fingers against his most famous moustache. trying to understand where his mistake laid. Dozens of messages came to him alerting about the lost of territory and death of compatriots.

Looking at his desk he saw a magazine which laid under flyers of Nazi propaganda with the title Heil Hitler. Where had his pride brought him to? Pushing aside the scattered papers, he saw the image of a beautiful beach with palm trees swaying in the sunny weather. Brazilien – Sommerparadise (Brazil – Summer Paradise) he read as a headline.

Taking the phone, he called the commender. 'Johann, one ticket to Brazil. I'm leaving this doomed land tomorrow. I want you to find me a new identity and a Portuguese teacher. My new name will be...
